What people don’t understand is that we are not designed to eat such high quantities of wheat. Up until the last 80-100 years, wheat was not a major segment of the human diet. Our digestive system was developed over several hundred thousand years to consume a diet of meats, vegetable, fruits, nuts, and seeds. Our digestive system is maladapted to process large amounts of wheat. People that eliminated wheat products from their diet, stated that they begin to feel better in 2-three weeks, and began losing weight quickly. In addition to dropping their weight, they discover that they no longer have the headaches and digestive problems that they have endured for years. Many discovered that skin problems they were agonizing from, also went away. Now let’s discuss fruit juices: I’ll bet you are shocked to hear that, as everyone knows that fruit is healthy for you. And, it is! However, drinking only the juice, and leaving behind the fiber and other helpful components of the fruit, leaves you with only a high calorie liquid. This is what makes you fat. Consuming the entire fruit, gives you the added fiber that you need to curb your appetite. Drinking only the juice, which is high in carbs, leaves you craving for more. To sum it up, drinking only the juice from fruits will make you fat. Eat the whole fruit, and benefit from all the fiber and nutrients to maintain a healthful diet.
