How to Lose the Beer Belly

How do you lose the beer belly? It’s a not an easy goal to achieve. You’ve gone through a lot with your old friend that you used to party a lot with. Going to Sunday footballs games together, attending those wild college parties, and grabbing a beer during happy hour.  You 2 have shared some great times, but things have changed and you want to lose your beer belly.

Losing the beer belly will not be easy and will take hard work, perseverance and time. Don’t take account on what the media says,you may be lead to believe that taking a few pills or following the latest diet trend may give you the body you only see on television. Sorry to burst your bubble, but it’s going to take a lot more work to accomplish what you want.

Believe it or not, it’s the truth. All the celebrities and models seen in the media are in the best shape of their lives due to regular exercise and healthy eating. In order to lose that beer belly, wouldn’t following their regime make sense? It will take some work but in the end it really doesn’t have to be that hard.People who want to lose their beer belly usually will take up running and doing stomache crunches. This may be the obvious answer. To burn calories, running will help but doing sit ups or crunches would be futile because all you would be doing is strenghting the muscles UNDER your beer belly. You might get toned abs but you won’t see it under your beer belly unless you do more than sit ups and crunches.

So, what do you do if crunches and sit ups aren’t enough to get rid of lower belly fat?

Step 1, stop drinking beer.  Cutting back on the beer may seem impossible. Isn’t drinking all that beer the reason why you have a beer belly? You don’t have to all together give up on your beer, you can just not drink as much.

To lose your beer belly, follow these two steps.  Eating right and exercise will help lose your beer belly. Results won’t be as great if you choose healthy eating over exercise or vice versa. Yes, exercise might burn more calories, but if you don’t eat less calories in the first place you may not be burning more than you eat.Exercise is a big factor in losing weight but if you’re eating more than you can burn than your results are minimal. In retrospect, both diet and exercise will help you lose your beer belly.

The first step is to eat healthy.Notice what you eat. Your body needs all the right nutrients. Proteins, complex carbohydrates, fiber, vitamins, and minerals are the nutrients your body needs to absorb. Eating healthy can help your body by burn and metabolize fat more effectively.

Second, exercise is the next contributing factor in weight loss. Cardio (aerobic exercise) and resistance training (strength training) is what you would need to do. To strengthen your heart and stamina, doing aerobic exercises like running, calisthenics, or other cardio workouts can help. Doing strength training can help you gain that confidence you need in order to strut your stuff next time you’re at the beach.
